This is an agreement between us (Green Eclipse) and you, a guest of our service (Share EclipseCrossword).
Your data and your privacy are important. Here’s our promise to you.
What data we collect, and why
- We collect and store data that our guests have shared. Otherwise we couldn’t run this thing!
- We may need to use cookies to operate the service, but if we do, they will only be for necessary things, such as remembering your settings, or learning how people use the service so that we can make it better.
- We will not use cookies to track you outside of our services, nor will we use cookies to help a third party track or identify you.
- Any IP addresses and other internet connection details that get logged will be deleted after they’re no longer necessary to diagnose problems with the service.
We don’t share
We will not share your personal information with anyone, unless required by law. (No advertisers.)
Your data (including personal information if applicable) is stored and processed on servers operated by a third party. They’re only allowed to use it for operating the service, not for their own purposes. We won’t use it to train any AI models and they won’t either.
Access to any data that we collect that isn’t something intended to be public (such as puzzles you share) will be restricted to only the people who need it to be able to operate and diagnose the service, nobody else.
We don’t spam
If you share your email address with us, we’ll only use it for the purpose that you gave it to us. We won’t send you spam or sell it. We’ll keep your messages in our private archives to help you better in the future.
Deleting your data
If you’ve shared data with us and want us to get rid of it, just ask. (Note that since we collect as little information from you as possible, it may be more difficult for us to verify that it’s really yours.)
The fine print
This applies to our websites and products—we can’t control what others do. So for example, if you donate to us through PayPal, their policies will apply.
Share EclipseCrossword is operated by Green Eclipse in the State of Washington, United States. If any disputes arise, those laws will apply. We can change these terms at any time without notice.
